Backpacking

If I were to go on a backpacking trip I would take my close friend Tennyson Renner.  Tennyson is a tough and rugged character.  Right now he is currently serving a mission.  He is 20 years old but is at the MTC still.  He leaves to serve the Lord for two years in the Bangkok, Thailand mission.  The reason that I would choose him to accompany me on a backpacking trip is because he is a righteous, knowledgeable, and experienced person.  His set of moral values his high and similar to my collection of morals.  Also, he and I get along really well and have a similar outlook on life.  Tennyson would be a very competent person to take with me into the mountains.  He has knowledge of the outdoors and a mountain sense.  This would be beneficial to me as we trekked through the woods.  Also he is a gun owner and goes shooting regularly.  This would provide an added sense of security and protection not only from wild life, but also from crazy people and zombies.  Basically I would choose to take my friend Tennyson because he is a lot like me and I would have fun with him.

  1. I would also make sure you can out run him, just in case the guns fail. I only go camping or hiking with people I can outrun, just kidding I do not go hiking and I do not run.

  2. Sounds like a good guy! I think it's super cool that he is serving his mission in Bangkok, Thailand! I haven' actually thought of who I would take a backpacking trip with, but it'd probably be with a guy as well just because they can protect me.
